2–8 players · A reaction-prediction game for two or more

Predict the Room

Like or dislike a clip, then predict the percentage of your friends who will like it. Predict the Room makes every video a small social puzzle: will this be a shared favorite, a total miss, or the clip that divides the group?

How well can you read the room?

Two to eight players, mixed groups, and people who want a simple game without choosing one friend by name. With two players, you are reading one person’s reaction.

How a round works

  1. Watch together

Open the same room on your own devices. The game supplies and plays each round’s clip.

  2. React, then predict

Choose like or dislike for yourself. Set a prediction from 0% to 100% for how many of your other friends will like it. Your own reaction is excluded from your scoring target.

  3. Compare your guess with the result

Lock in before the timer ends. The reveal shows the group’s reactions and how close each player’s prediction was; closer guesses earn more points.

Example round · Maya predicts the other three players

What percentage of your friends will like it?

Maya
Likes it · predicts 67%
Sam
Likes it
Jules
Dislikes it
Leo
Likes it

Two of Maya’s three friends like the clip, so Maya’s scoring target is 67%. The whole-room reveal is 75% because three of all four players liked it.

How scoring works

Your target is the rounded percentage of the other players who answered and liked the clip. Points decrease as your prediction gets farther from that percentage, with an extra bonus for a bullseye. The whole-room percentage on the reveal can differ from your personal scoring target because it includes your reaction.

Make the reveal count

Think in people first, percentages second. With three other respondents, one like is about 33%, two likes are about 67%, and three likes are 100%. With one other player, the target is either 0% or 100%.
